The HPV game is an educational tool, which utilises gameplay and fun, interactive elements, to inform teenagers and their parents about the human papilloma virus (HPV) and its associated vaccination.
Learn about HPV alongside a range of diverse characters during a unique day at school.
The HPV game was designed to raise awareness among teenagers about HPV and its associated vaccination. It was developed by Focus Games as part of the “PrevHPV” research project.
In 2019, the French National Institute of Health and Medical Research (Inserm) promoted the PrevHPV project. It was supported by numerous partners such as the Institute for Public Health Research (IReSP), the Institute Thematic Multi-Organization Institute (ITMO) Cancer, the General Directorate of School Education (DGESCO) and the National Cancer Institute (INCa).
The programme was conducted by a consortium of eight French teams (who specialised in Human and Social Sciences, Epidemiology, Biostatistics and General Medicine).
The HPV Game is supporting the French national campaign to increase HPV vaccine uptake.
With the HPV game supporting school health campaigns, public exhibitions and more.
Currently available in English and French, the HPV Game can be localised for language and content to support your campaign.
Available as a web game which only needs an internet connection, playable on any device, PC/MAC, tablet or smart phone.
